Closing Down

I've decided to close down Petpet Central, and I just wanted to say a massive thanks to all those who supported us while we were running and to those who helped out in testing and supplying us with news.

I no longer have the time or dedication to continue updating the site, something that has been made clearer to me since the revamp of Neopets and the pets themselves. Also, I don't think petpets are really given much time by Neopets anymore making keeping up with news a little redundant. And finally, my faithful coder doesn't have the time to do the database rebuild work the site needed because of his work responsibilities.

Thank you to all the other fansites that supported us, to the people who took the time to comment on the news and give feedback, to those who helped with articles and ideas, and particular thanks to Wuwwy for all the latest information on released petpets.

Thanks again for all the support and for all the kind comments received since this announcement :)

The databases will remain online but will not continue to be updated.
